Dumpling day with friends!

TODAY, the Chinese in many parts of the world celebrate the Dumpling Festival, an age-old tradition that has been practised for over 2,280 years.

The festival, falling on the 5th day of the 5th Lunar month, is called by some Chinese as the Dragon Boat Festival while others call it as Duan Wu Jie or the Poet's Day.

The legend behind the festival depicts the story of love and service for one's country.

An honest minister by the name Qu Yuan, was undermined in his efforts to fight corruption in the Chinese kingdom of Chu. Not only was his plea for reforms ignored, it also led to his banishment from Chu.

Disgraced, he drowned himself in Mi Luo River. Hundreds of fishermen searched in vain for his body. Gongs were struck to frighten the River Dragon into returning Qu Yuan and rice dumplings were thrown overboard to deter the fish from eating the body of the patriot.

yap it is still practise this days but then people seldom throw dumpling to water. Instead they throw people in to the water. Been a while since I celebrate dumpling day....coz kl no sea water. Need to go very far XD. All my friend fighting for thier life. I am nearly thrown too but luckily got distraction XD.....Thanks ....I really enjoy it haha

1st day of site

Been such a tiring day as always. Haha...My days are always sien since my name is shyan. Moving office today to seria site. Haven finish renovating. I dont understand whats the rush of moving in. So starting tomo, I have to work at 7am till 5 plus pm. Need to punch card so theres no escaping and things seem so serious, I mean those procedure and stuff. Supervisor asked me to go meeting to check about whats going on then suddenly asked me to leave. Whats his prob. I meet 2 new friends here. haha. Easily clicked. Chating with him till its time to go home.

Hm since not much work is allocated to me, I roam around and I talked with my collegues last time in 06. Nice time to talk and as always theres laughter. Anyway, talked about working in Kl after a yr and he said " why dont you straight work there? You are stupid to come back. If you work there before you come back then maybe your parent will allow but since you are back here, dont say your parent, me I also wouldnt let my children go back"

I agreed and suddenly I am thinking in my parent shoe. Those feelings if I let my children go. Saddening. Somehow the feelings of working in Kl came back and sometimes it went away. Somehow felt weavy......was thinking of asking Wilson to play guitar but then mayb he wouldt even want to. So nvm. I wonder whether my kl mates will alwys support me to go to kl to work. Dont think I can stand alone to deal with my parent here. Decisions are mine to make but then I always consider the feelings of others. Thats the thing I hate myself the most.

As long as you dont give up on me, then nither will I. My feelings are weavy........Its been a day since Shawn fly to germany. Wonder hows he doing? and also hows cat's father is doing. Wonder hows the exam and wonder hows helen is doin. Wonder wonder wonder.....

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for everything that I have. Every people that I have met. Please guide me and show me your way of who you want me to be. For I know you love us enough to die on the cross to wash our sins away. So here I am on my knees, praying hard for your wisdom and strength. Let my desire to serve you in Chc be strong and do not let it fade away.

~The bridge at KB is fixed! Hooray.

~Went to breakfast in seria mee stall. Saw ken and also K.L. Change so much I cant even recognise him. Ken invited VJ, me and Wj to his house this coming saturday. Wonder wats going on. Birthday or mayb farewell. Not sure.

~Services started when we arrive. They sang chinese traditional song using a projector and moving the paper up and down. All in chinese so cant get to sing. Just sat there and look. Then when they preach the word of God, they speak in deep chinese. Cant catch what they are talking about. So just sit there and then there was this slide show about the um....not sure wat it is. Maybe its some donation or something. Sang another 2 chinese song then its over. Haha...They also did some announcement and they welcome me and Ivy. Malu man. everyone is like looking at me and claping hand. and I don know what to do. So stand up and bow.

~Maybe try the english service but they say only phillipinos go there. so not so sure about it.

~Then went to plaza shop around, buy dvd then went home. Basically nothing much going on. Got treat by K's sister's husband.

~Tomo is mon. Another monday blues.

A step in my life

Tiring day today. Now I know how it feels to be a photocopier guy. Haha not fun to become one. Nothing to write so many I drop something nice for me to remember ^^

Some facts/info about people who I encounter in my life.

Mother - They said I look like my mum. I remember when I am young, I always talk to her in an alien language i.e I would go to her and say "washirumeyaka" (something like tat and then I will run off to my room) and then she will say "yea ok". My aunt whose beside her, I remember her asking my mum, "you know what your son is talking about?" and she replied, "Dont know". Great mum with great cooking.

Father - One very unique about my father is he dislike either me or my sister when we cry. If we ever sob infront of him, he will go berserk and scream on top of his voice at us and he will punch the door or something and the door really break == Another thing is if I ever request my dad about something, if he say no, my mum will say ok and vice versa. haha...So easier for me to get stuff sometimes ^^

Sister - Working in Kl since way back. Supported me when I am in Kl. Its so easy to get money from her and now I know how it feels like. I remember if we ever fight way back, I will throw her whatever thing she gave me, e.g used books, then after the fight, I will go and pick everything up

of coz theres alot of family from father side so I skip

My mum got 3 sisters and 1 decreased sister, who passed away when shes born and 2 brothers where 1 of them passed away when I am in form 3.

I am close to my mum's side family coz I feel more comfortable to be with and I seldom really went to my father's family side and one year 365 days, maybe I only went 20 times or less.

Grandma - Always love to go miri and do sales. I have always love her cooking. SO nice! seriously

Grandpa - Passed away last year. Hm tho his not a so good person in life, he always treat me well when I am young.


Heres my friends/ cousins
L voon cousin (nickname Ahfat) /with brother william(nickname Talap"(jackfruit) - my 2nd ah yee children. I remember always use to play power ranger with them haha and also crawling on the floor pretending to swim. Now we use to play majong and also dota haha. They have dark skins and they keep asking my aunt whether she kept drinking coffee when shes pregnant haha

Wilson / Joane - No nickname for them because they went to kl when they are young. I was with them when they are young in Brunei. Wilson use to cry alot and I always have to carry him around. Tiring for my size and age and Joane used to bite my arm and also pull my hair whenever I am carrying her when shes young. Painful man and I am the only one who get it. Another thing I dislike is when I am asked to change their diapers haha

Ying/ Dexter / C.Long - Children of my youngest aunt and also my uncle. 2:1 respectively. Didnt get to change their diapers haha but then they can be annoying when they play as teacher haha and when you are using your computer and they wanted to play with ur computer. Even my friend run away from them lolz.

But at one point we stop contact each other when I change class to form 1b haha. and I remember I went to her house to do history project but ends up her mum doing it and I took one of her watch home and I feel so reluctant to return it but ofcoz i returned it being a generous me lol.(You borrowed me k not I stole it haha). Then we start to contact each other again when I work in Sks and when she work in Laut. Then now always talk alot of stuff la about problems and anything stupid. Fun fun~ and she got alot of korean /japanese movies etc and anime etc. Crazy about them

Grn.Him/Salahmakan (green's sister) - Forbidden name to be label around haha. Just know he love cars lolz....Aya shall know best

Paulina (Nickname Ah po) - One who love pig stuff and crazy with Anime stuff haha. Always call her ah po(grandma) coz she took such a long time to buy stuff and she love to "mo here and mo there" and end up late haha. My friend since Kg too. Same batch with Vj. Went to her house to watch cartoon and I ended up getting screw by parent coz they cant seem to find her house.

Li ping - One whose same bacth with VJ and Paulina - But didnt keep in touch coz I heard she change alot. So nothing much to talk abt her. haha

Yen huah - My kg friend too. Always call me small didi coz my size is so small haha. I think she learn karate is it? cant remember but she can play piano and we always joke together one haha

Yen Kuan - Nearly same name haha and this 2 are close friend too. Kg friend too and well, i know she can cook well haha. But i never get to try tho. Got one time a group of us were sitting in her living room and her dog in her house came to sniff our leg and when the dog sniff my leg, she straight sneeze and run off haha so lame la the dog..make me so malu. (My feet are clean always k?)

- are my clasmates some of them since Kg too. Seldom really keep in touch ever since graduation and I heard alot of stories about them haha. Kay po stories lol but we do meet up once in a while tho.

Kelvin(nickname ah choi)/danny - My noob dota friend always only know how to use sniper and runner. So cheap. but always yamcha with him and talk alot of crap too haha. His brother danny, is working in the same place as me now haha. Very look alike brother. Danny last time hire me to do those sales, going from school to school and its fun and I need to remember all the items price haha and think I always forgot about it. If on long term, he will surely go on loss instead of profit haha.


Ivy - Ivy is kel's haha. first time saw her when I went to find kel in Ad Sim. Um. We can talk but then seldom talk much too. haha. Need to buckle up.

Alice M - One of the unexpected person in my life now. I never talk to her in school time and now we always talk alot. Meet up for event and so on haha. She are so active in organising stuff now.


Shen(nickname Shentan or lie) - My friend since Kg. Always kena bully by people. So pity him but then he got those innocent look haha and sometime u just got no choice but to pity him. Always go around to bandar with him. Can communicate well with him too haha..coz we talk all craps

H2 - Dont wanna mention the name but then heard he use to be jealous of me coz I always stick to his admirer. Haha and he use to have the same name with me but then he changed it == and he can spent countless of hour in the toilet looking at mirror haha

Eric - This lai many Gf one. Always complaint no lady. haha Small size guy and ppl said we look alike coz of the style or something...and I don think so man. == Was studying in same college in Kl. See him so cham .....24 hour no sleep just to do assignment most of the time. ~ One who love cars and keep changing.....not rich? tell me about it.

Ivan/Kenedy/Micheal koo / Kok Jang or something/ Pyann/Suk ting/Yee voon/Hong aik /Hong chee/Elizabeth/Kou siong/yee voon/king/terk hung o something - Tution mates last time. Remember I had some sort of fight with them and I end up stopping my tution lol. I even drag one of my friend to stopp tution but in the end, my tution teacher called her parent and she resume. haha


Sheau shy(nickname Ah su) - always talk with her nowadays and I always bully her one and she always call me terter. So bad la. But always got many things to talk about. haha

Sheau yu - nearly same name but not sister. Didnt like to talk to her last time. Scary haha.. Always scold people. but got one time I saw her, I cant recognise her when she sat beside me. She have changed after her marraige and birth. Nice aunty oledi. muhahaha

Vt / Teresa - Got keep in touch still but always scold me one. So if I ever wan to call them, need to wear bullet proof vessel else you will nothing left other than your 2 feet left hanging there haha.

Janet - My very old friend haha. can say always chat with her and hang around her and we are so close and we always talk alot funny stuff, emo stuff haha. She;s someone who got a high aim and better don step on her tail. She can be deadly even tho shes thin haha. I never talk to her in all my school time but so funny we can be close now. weird.


Vivien - Haha My secret admirer last time. but not now la haha. Sioking news to many ppl.

Yen - Cant remember I ever saw her before o not but then shes my second admirer haha. But then hm something happen and it never started. Sad~ But shes good now with her bf haha. Didnt keep in touch with her for a long time di.

Dinah - my good friend whose birthday is on 31st aug. A day before me. Always love to hang out with her and always greet her Happy Birthday and she will greet me too haha. Miss her

Alice T(nickname she-hulk) / tomy (husband)- Work with her in the same company now and been with her since form 2. Many thing to chat about and she gained weight after form 5 lolz.. Now she have been rumoured to become She-hulks (Dont make her angry) coz she love to pinch ppl and everyone runs from her haha....

Chovin - a very baby face like guy and his size is so small he doesnt look like 27 or 28 lol and he is. Always love to chuan ppl one and the way he laugh is very funny one. Like to hyper laugh like tat. lolz

Always joke around and stuff haha and I always gossip with mimi. Many things to gossip lolz. Chang is my supervisor. Very flexible guy and understanding haha. All above got stories one lol. I am such a gossiper like aunty haha

Fat lee driver - My friend who I always hang out with after 4 either to yamcha or maybe help sent schdule etc. We always talked about food and we always love to joke and gossip. He is good with cars and he always use different car to bring me around. Sad that he passed away when I am in Kl. I really cry tat time.

Felix/siew hong/Ruth (my gossiper friend)/Shatini/Johnson/bobby/Gehjan/Samson/Ms tan/samuel/ chai/sujidran/peter/Chris/Tan/Ck/Anxia/James and got somemore I remember the looks and I forgot their name.......darn....so fast.... - all are my friend and tutor in Kl. Dota with them and so fun haha. They always talk in a way which are so funny man. but i seldom got to go to the same class with some of them. But Its something very memorable for me. Gonna miss you guys

Nicholas - My friend in Kl who doesnt look at all like a chinese and he can talk chinese haha. Was shock the first time. He worked in a game shop in summit. Not sure abt now but always hang together too. haha Wanted to bring him to Chc but then he got issues with one of the cg so he dont wanna go. Opss

Helen - A teacher haha and I love her voice. Very soft and nice. Gonna chant you. waseh haha. Never saw her got angry before too. Wonder how it looks like. Somehow you will feel comfortable talking with her. Never see her with makeup before haha wonder how it looks like.

Andrew Teh - I so in love with his car. haha. Always take the trouble to fetch us. Its ok! More cars is to come haha. He also talk funny one. Always do those dunny face lolz

Shawn Lee - A beatboxing - first time saw him when I first went out with Wendy and Adam (his oledi so talkative man) and we are suppose to go watch movie but end up canceling it coz of the inconvenient time in pyramid. So went to the wat name di and I remember Adam spent me a Rm5 juice drink and I keep on saying no need la etc etc but in the end I accepted it haha. Always skype and talk alot of crap about Sa* and etc etc. Always belanja ppl and never belanja me. He love to kick ppls butt and better don say any bad words infront of him haha. Warning first. I miss those L4d times man but I dont wanna team with him coz he either leave his teammate to die or he just run off himself(speedrun) and he will screw u if u save him late haha. Next time maybe let the tanker have him. Make sure we go for it when I go back ^^

Wendy - Cg leader. A very nice and open hearted lady. She can sing! Can counter stress and problems in many ways.I always asked her for help and very straight forward one. I heard shes very ~she hulk to haha but then I never see her angry face or anything before. Dont think I wanna see it haha. Shes the one who kept asking me to go Cg and I always give excuses to stay away from her but after my first join to Cg and chc, become frequent in it. Should meet her when I first come Kl haha so can have more time in CG. :P

Andrew L - Wen's baby boy lolz. Didnt really talk alot with them coz his another busy guy haha but then easily u can have some conversation with him. Talk funny stuff also one.

Adam - A good dancer and one who always ask me to go chc and cg too. Always say "Hey man" whenever I see him and don know go where di and his a busy guy. haha. He and Wen will called to ask on how are you when you are sick. haha Caring people.

Daniel/Kevin pastor and wife/Ethan/ Pastor kong and wife / Achana / ? - Church member! cant remember some other name for now sorry~

Catherine / cindy - Catherine is another cg member. Always laugh one and talk dont know wat haha. Always kena point out mistake and she will go "eyyyer so bad". Always update songs with her and she always do those bullitin. haha .....Don know when I can ever help haha. Cindy is cat elder sis. Scary coz she sound so strict in Cg. haha So I will always pay attention else you will go to detention haha Jk. Last thing I heard is she went to Sg. Not sure shes back oledi o not

James - So good with design! Most of the props he design one. So damn nice. haha and I admire his so tall sigh......dont feel like standing beside him sometimes haha.....


Elaine/jeremy(Bro) - A very cute girl who dress in a very "nice" way. She always go to help in props one and I rememer she was siting infront of me during services and the next night we are together in props haha. Its like @@ why u look so familiar. Jeremy is Elaine's bro. The first time I saw Jeremy is during chrismas production show. Elaine asked me to accompany him and well good thing, I can chat with him haha coz we got some topic in common. So I treat him for drinks but end up lost when we tried to walk back to chruch and I am so late for the show since I am helping out. Luckily Wen save me. Phew....

Hui fen / Shevin - Meet them during props. Er. Hui fen haha.....always eyerr....and go balastic like tat lol....and shevin look so garang == scary man. Its like er............"Just dont kill me, I will do anything" haha kidding.

Allan - Meet him for a while. He can really play guitar man. He play until so melo that I wanna sleep haha. I mean its nice la. I always love to ask him to play the "when you say nothing at all". He said his family sell birdnestfern. Maybe can buy from him. Buy 2 free 1o haha. Thats what brother are for. no?

Tiffany - Meet her with allan. Both very enrgetic ppl. First day in cg and can like get so friendly haha. Always also aiyer.......same like cat. Maybe sister clone haha.

Pang and Pang - One Pang is a very good photographer and the other pang gonna turn u upside down. haha. I always remember the day we play bowling. Very very cool people and love pang's mum curry.

Steven - always "whats ur prob" and it spread to so many ppl. Haha. Don know his thing very well coz he seem like got many identity. First time say a malaysian then is actually an indonesian haha.

Kah sern/Chee Heng/Chee peng/Veronica/Kyrstle/Bryan/Chun Keat / Andrew Ng/Glads/Aunt Mag/Weizen/Gan/Christine/one more i forgot wat name. always with christine one ~ Saw them during chrismas party in krystle house. I got no event that day , so I follow wilson to their bbq party haha. I made some chicken wing 7-up. Um I think its not a totally failure but then its not as nice also haha. I remember bbqing outside with bryan and Chun keat and then we gamble. This ppl are so good with Naruto games and I being a consider good gamers lose like egg like tat. haha Malu man. Then new year play cards with them and I lose alot of money. I hate the most is Chun keat coz he sit in front of me with no money and he keep winning my money. Need to balas dendam man. but never can ~ sob....another is aunty mag..haha.....good memory. Love aunty mag. Very outgoing one. I still cant differenciate chee heng and chee peng and i never meet weizen tho. just chat in msn haha. Ks, Andrew, a good singer and the rest are all cool people. ^^

Xiao yu / Jason Lo / carmen / syin kit / Suyin/Elly/ Joane chai - All this friend i met online. Haha. They are very nice ppl to chat with but I never get to see them tho even tho I always say I will haha except for Joane. Xiao yu and Joane is closest to me among all and we always chat many things too. ^^ I am so glad I meet you all. Joane is a funny one. I remember the first day I wanna meet her and we miscommunicate and ended up I wait for her at one shop in one location and me in another shop in another location, both with the same shop name haha. Make sure u can come seria next time to work so We can always go yamcha and see each other to talk more.^^ Always chat with Suyin and always call her sweetie and hubby. lol i don know when it started but um haha don know wat to say. Oledi use to it and well Stand up for yourslef ^^ I will always stand by you all.

~Its a blessing to bless others and to help others in need. Tho its not any big amount or anything like that, but I felt so nice and happy. ^^

~Next time go Kl can eat sushi for free! haha. Uncle will be so happy to see me that he will cancel all charges and give me a good feast! (Maybe see me straight double charge haha coz I am his wife's sister's son lolz)

~Please don't smoke man. Your body is a place of Holy temple. Don't smoke to harm your own body. No people ever want to experience the pain of losing someone due to cancer do you?
I advise people not to so I too wouldnt do it ^^

~I learned that if you wanna be rich ~Do get out of debt! Pay it off and don't borrow it ANYMORE. DON'T use CREDIT card. Interest rate can kill you. Save money and Use LESS than you have.

~If you want to SAVE and also BLESS then you have to have no payment. I am learning from it hehe

~Have a good feast last night with all my family member. Brought cake and ordered food from outside. So delicious ^^

Yea~ its finally pay day. haha. So blessed man. Been praying hard this days haha thanks God he bless me more than I expected for my salary.
~ First is my previous company, they gave me my pay and they calculated wrongly. lolz.(I just realise it when I reached home).

They calculated like tat :

XXXX /26 days * 16 working days. Out of which they included sunday for me which they are not suppose to.

and i got another working day of money because my resign letter said I am suppose to work till 1st may but I ended up working at 30th April coz the Admin say it will be better to. The account department is not imform of it so I got another extra money haha

Yea man~

Every since I change my job, I feel so much better ^^ and I dont feel regret about it. People there is very cool and Thanks God for good people around me as they always bless me with food from morning till night lol and I can save some money for myself and some to Kl to use haha ^^ and ofcoz the 10%. I can never forget him can I?

So nowadays I have been sticking with working people and somehow some kinda of feeling inside came back. Those long lost feelings haha

Suppose to watch movie this weekends ~Xmen but then celebrating mother day so well lets see wats the plan then. Planning to go poker!!!! Finding leg! Who can come!

~Started my new job and can say everything went ok. Go to eat breakfast with the tea car and kinda enjoy it.

~We are planning a trip to Kl with my family maybe around July or maybe during Hari raya and we are also planning for a trip to KK and plan to drive there haha. It will be fun i guess.

~Flu are hitting many countries badly and well, this flu is no longer called swine flu coz they just found out it doesnt originate from pigs. And here measures have been taken and if you are so unlucky to be sick, then the whole people, whether you sit with them in car or in plane have to be isolated and sent to quarantine. Scary. Heard visitor are not allow to visit too -.- So many trips have been cancel but I am thinking of going to Kl in July haha

~Friends are planning to go Taiwan, Thailand and also Hongkong. So I am still thinking whether I wanna follow their trip. Haha seem like so many things going on and all you need is money.

~But I am planning for a trip to Mulu cave! Malaysia world's largest cave. Well, not so sure the budget and all but I heard you need to use boat to travel from Miri, and it takes about 3 hours?? Can take the easier way tho by plane but what fun will it be. haha

~Today is sunday and nothing much happen. Just went to a garage sale and brought 1 shoe and 1 sandal for 5 dollar each haha. Look good and also some pen. lol
